“If women remember that once upon a time we sang with the tongue of seals and flew with the tongues of swans, that we forged our own paths through the dark forest while creating a community of its many inhabitants, then we will rise up rooted, like trees. “ â€‹- Sharon Blackie, If Women Rose Rooted

Led by ethnobotanist and storyteller Pridie Tiernan, our Play Wild hen party experience features a variety of guided foraging walks and workshop sessions where ancestral skills are enjoyed and explored against a backdrop of folklore, stories and the mountains of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park.  â€‹We teach wilderness skills a little differently here - weaving the folklore and stories of native flora and fauna into the heart of every task. Fire is a focus throughout it all.
