A folklore and story walk around the trees and hedgerows of Cwmdu's Paramor Apple Orchard.

During the walk, Pridie shares a magical mix of folklore and stories connected to our native trees, plants and creatures, as well as an exciting assortment of practical bushcraft and wilder life tips.

Enjoy everything else the day has to offer afterwards, including stalls, storytelling, and meeting bee and moth experts! Bring a picnic!

Join Pridie for a short fifteen 'tree meet' at one of the oldest trees on site - our pollarded ash with the swing. Learn about how important our veteran trees are, how we can protect them, and what you can do to protect other ancient trees you meet elsewhere.​

Have you ever heard of the Celtic tree alphabet? This little workshop introduces you to the Celtic Ogham script. We'll see which tree is associated with your birthday, share some folklore and stories about those trees and you'll even get to craft your own Ogham wand. 

The first of our summer workshops, perfect for families keen to sharpen their wilderness skills!

This hour long workshop focuses on foraging the right seasonal materials for a fabulous fire, methods of making flame (from the power of your mind to mushrooms and rubbing sticks together), tinder bundle construction, different types of fire lays and which wood is the best to burn! Tips and tricks that will make the world of difference when you next make a fire!

These seasonal workshops focus on getting to know some of our seasonal plants more intimately, using our senses and intuition as well as practical interaction and creative writing. 

During our spring workshop, we'll work with daisy, heather and yarrow.  

We'll visit each of these plants; discussing our intuitive observations when we meditate beside them, exploring the sensations they provoke when handled, smelt and tasted, and connecting all these characteristics to their medicinal actions and practical use. We'll also dive a little deeper into their folklore and stories, and creatively play with some plant dreaming and poetry. 

From cough curing syrups to anti-inflammatory teas, fever fighting flowers, energy protecting auras and affirmative incense...you'll definitely be leaving with a deeper connection to these three!

Join Pridie at the fire to learn a few fun folk songs linked to our trees. No singing experience or expertise necessary, all ages welcome!

This little workshop focuses on foraging from the hedgerow and meadow to make magical medicine, including the perfect poultice for stings and scrapes, and a quick fix for a nose bleed!
