Ethnobotany, Folklore & Storytelling
"The modern world still holds its magic, if only we attune ourselves to its enchantments."
- Carolyne Harrington, Forgotten Folktales Retold
Nature is transformative in the way she helps us live richer, happier and healthier lives. Ethnobotany, folklore and storytelling reveal this to us, clearly revealing how crucial those deep-rooted connections between human beings and the natural world truly are, and always have been.

Pridie focuses her work on delving deep into our relationship with the natural world. Specialising in blending wilderness skill instruction with a rich and fascinating tableaux of folklore, folktales and ethnobotanical practice, she invites you into a world where the sharing of ancestral skills and stories reconnect us with our own wild selves and our precious natural heritage.
As well as being great fun and a fantastic way to bring people together in community, these experiences also challenge us to rethink our relationship with nature and its potential to revitalise our lives when we willingly invite it into our 'everyday'. Time spend in these workshops doesn't just have a therapeutic effect on our own individual minds and bodies, but also a hugely positive impact on the natural world itself.
If we truly know the land in which we live - its plants, its trees, its creatures - then we rekindle that passion to protect it.

Let us share with you, some of that modern magic.
