When truly present in nature, we do use all our senses at the same time, which is the optimum state of learning.”
― Richard Louv, The Nature Principle

Led by ethnobotanist and storyteller Pridie Tiernan, our Learn Wild experience features a rich mix of ancestral skills, folklore and stories for schools keen to reconnect with the outside world as a classroom all of its own.

This is an opportunity to learn how our ancestors created art, crafted with natural materials, creatively played with the natural world.

All coloured and inspired by the magic of folklore and the old stories.

These sessions focus on both deepening the relationship between young people and the natural world, but also on exploring how experiences in nature can also provide the most incredible medium through which to teach the curriculum!
